The Billy Goat range of wheeled vacuums is famous for extraordinary suction power while using comparatively low-powered engines. It's all in the aerodynamic design. These models will pick up tin cans and even bottles, chomp them up, and then compact them into the huge bag along with twigs, cardboard cups and leaves. They can collect from lawns and hard surfaces, but also from gravel drives without sucking up the stones. The 27-inch nozzle actually picks up a slightly wider strip – can be as much as 30-inches.
The optional hose kit is especially convenient because it plugs in to the front of the machine and is then stowed on the machine itself. When you want to clear a difficult corner, you just lift it out of its holster, use it, and put it back.
