You can use this spreader for granular materials such as fertiliser, herbicide, seed or de-icer. Broadcast spreaders cut down on the number of passes necessary to cover your lawn because they have a wide distribution pattern. Distribution is random and helps to avoid over or under-application of the seed or fertiliser. The poly hopper and spreader plate resist corrosion. Some people use them for de-icing drives and courtyards.
