The purpose of this implement is to cut out plugs of earth, allowing access for fertiliser, seed, water and air. If your lawn or playing area is particularly compacted or is composed of hard soils like clay, removal of plugs allows it room to loosen up.

You tow the aerator to where it is needed, then lower it off its wheels with a lever which can be operated from the tractor seat. If required, extra weight can be added in the form of concrete blocks (not provided) placed in the special tray and secured at the anchor points. This tool is made to a high standard so that it will not bend, and the hardened and sharpened coring points penetrate even severely compacted surfaces.

Agri-Fab implements attach to all major makes of tractor with the hitch pin (provided). Some assembly is required before first usage.
