The purpose of this implement is to cut slits in the lawn, allowing access for fertiliser, seed, water and air. It works best on loamy soils which are not too severely compacted. If your lawn or playing area is particularly compacted or is composed of hard soils like clay, a plug type aerator is better (see product page).

You tow the aerator to where it is needed, then lower it off its wheels with a lever which can be operated from the tractor seat. If required, extra weight can be added in the form of concrete blocks (not provided) placed in the special tray and secured at the anchor points.

Agri-Fab implements attach to all major makes of tractor with the hitch pin (provided). Some assembly is required before first usage.
