This recycling (or mulching) mower is a valuable addition to the Hayter range. It will collect clippings conventionally, or with one stroke of a lever you can switch to recycling. The grass is then chopped finely and dropped back on the lawn. Many owners like to choose between these options depending on time available and on conditions.

Another remarkable new feature is that the forward speed automatically adjusts to your walking speed. And Hayter have introduced quick release devices on the handlebars to make adjusting or folding them easier.

Hayter fit modern engines on all their machines, designed to the latest standards for carbon and noise emissions. This mower has an electric starter, which is quite a convenience when you consider that the engine stops (as a safety measure) whenever you take your hand off the OPC lever. There is a pull-cord starter as backup.

Hayter say that this mower is better suited to fine lawns than rough lawns but it is still a pretty versatile machine.
