The Motif 48 push mower is suited to rough or fine grass and can be used with or without the collecting bag. If your garden is quite big or hilly, it is worth considering the Motif 48 autodrive instead because it will save a lot of effort.
There is a safety lever called the Operator Presence Control which you keep depressed during use. It fits snugly into the handlebar and, when you let go, the blade and engine will stop completely within three seconds. Hayter fit modern engines on all their machines, designed to the latest standards for carbon and noise emissions.
Adjusting the height of cut is easy: you just move one lever.
This mower is surprisingly light considering its cutting width.
