The Ranger 53 Pro is the largest 4-wheel Hayter mower and is capable of serious work, including by professional groundsmen using it every day. It is suited to rough or fine grass and can be used with or without the collecting bag. You can select any walking speed to suit the terrain.
A unique friction disc is fitted between the engine and the blade bar so that the blade will slip if it hits a solid object. Hayter are so confident that this will save the crankshaft from bending (a very expensive procedure if it happens) that they give a lifetime guarantee.
There is a safety lever called the Operator Presence Control which you keep depressed during use. It fits snugly into the softgrip handlebar and, when you let go, the blade and engine will stop completely within three seconds. Hayter fit modern engines on all their machines, designed to the latest standards for carbon and noise emissions.
Adjusting the height of cut is easy: you just move one lever. There are several features which qualify this as a truly heavy duty machine.
