The Harrier is probably one of the most well-known models of rotary mower. Its alloy deck is extremely durable against corrosion, and now the underside is ribbed and lined to give a more controlled cut and to dampen noise.
There is a safety lever called the Blade Brake Clutch which you keep depressed during use. When you let go in order to empty the grass bag, the blade will stop without the engine stopping. Thus you will not have to restart the engine. Hayter fit modern engines on all their machines, designed to the latest standards for carbon and noise emissions.
Adjusting the height of cut is exceptionally easy: you just move one lever. Another convenience is that the grass bag can be lifted out between the handlebars for easy emptying. And the handlebars themselves can be adjusted to a comfortable height. The ribbed rear roller provides forward drive and imprints stripes onto your lawn. The rear roller has the added benefit that it allows the machine to overhang while running along a border edge.
