This is a fantastically quick way to trim the edges of beds or the earth edges of paths (but be very careful not to hit hard material such as stones or concrete). You connect the edger to the top half of a compatible brush cutter or line trimmer, set the height, then carefully roll it on its wheel and guide along the edge you want to trim.

The edger should be treated with respect. It can throw debris, so never use one near pets or other people. Protective goggles should always be worn, and ear-defenders, gloves and leg coverings are recommended too.
