Allen have chosen lightweight Honda 4-stroke engines for their hover mowers. Honda are among the world's most famous engine makers, and this product is easy to start, quiet and has low emissions. It has been specially designed to cope with working at up to 45 degrees from the horizontal.

The mower itself has a generous length of handle to improve reach on slopes and under bushes. The clean cut safety blades are quick and easy to change. This machine is safe to use from a rope if you have a very high bank. An Allen feature is a conical attachment for the blade which allows easy removal for servicing. Height of cut is adjusted using a simple spacer system, with the added feature that the spacers stay on the machine to prevent loss.
