This is a capable brushcutter with double handles for more control. This type of machine is better than loop handled ones if tackling tough scrub with the steel blade.

The steel blade will mow grass or tackle light brush and even limited brambles. The strimming line will deal with grass and quite coarse weeds right up to edges and obstacles. Nylon line is automatically fed out by simply tapping the spool on the ground. Be aware that even nylon line can mark the bark of trees and shrubs.

All brushcutters/line trimmers should be treated with respect. They can throw debris, so never use one near pets or other people. Protective goggles should always be worn, and ear-defenders, gloves and leg coverings are recommended too.
