This is a very light and handy trimmer for home use. The nylon line is automatically fed out by simply tapping the spool on the ground. The strimming line will deal with grass and finer weeds. Be aware that even nylon line can mark the bark of trees and shrubs, but using the folding guard helps with this.
A useful feature is the way the machine can be adjusted to a comfortable length. By twisting the head, you have a choice of strimming horizontally or trimming the vertical edges of borders and paths. A trigger lock takes the effort out of keeping it switched on for long periods.
All brushcutters / line trimmers should be treated with respect. They can throw debris, so never use one near pets or other people. Protective goggles should always be worn.
