  • How chainsaw protection works. The garment lining is made from layers of light, long fibres. If a saw cuts the fabric, it draws in bundles of fibres which quickly clog and stop the chain. The system will reduce injury, but nothing can provide total protection.
  • Level of protection.
    Design A (which applies to trousers) is for normal trained chainsaw workers. Legs are protected at the front.
  • Fabric qualities. The clothing is very light, breathes, is dirt resistant and has excellent moisture repellancy. The fabric is 100% polyamide.
  • Jackets with chainsaw protection (17 layers) and ventilation system.
    Bib & brace trousers Design A. With vents in upper leg area.
